Sr. Accountant -#09-09
SCOPE: The Accountant is responsible for general accounting activities in accordance with the company's and department goals as set by management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Maintain and post entries to the general ledger.
- Reconcile and analyze G/L accounts to supporting detail.
- Perform control month-end cutoff.
- Prepare daily management report.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare and file sales/use tax.
- Maintain fixed asset accounts and reconcile to G/L.
- Provide support to the Sr. Accounting Manager.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Cost accounting knowledge and experience.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to use computer applications related to work, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and 5-7 years of related experience.

Cost Accounting Manager -#13-09
SCOPE: The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for budgeting and assists with day-to-day operations and special projects. Prepares and directs the implementation of cost accounting methods and activities. Manages and interprets cost audits and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to senior management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Provide leadership and management to cost accounting staff in the application of accounting principles, concepts and practices.
- Devise, install and administer cost control systems. Establish systems, programs, policies and procedures.
- Provide executive management with information on unit costs of products.
- Analyze such items as labor, material and accounts payable costs, combining them with overhead costs to determine cost standards and compile periodic statement of product costs.
- Support executive management in identifying and quantifying resources and accompanying costs required to manufacture products.
- Design, implement and coordinate modifications to accounting systems to meet changing requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of all levels of accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of Inventory Management and Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use personal computers.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting; five to seven years of cost accounting experience, general ledger management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of four years in a supervisory capacity. MBA or CPA preferred.

Sr. Project Engineer -#12-09
SCOPE: Plans, organizes and manages material and human resources to drive successful completion of assigned medical device engineering projects. Ensure that product designs meet specification and function as intended. Oversees projects through all phases of development to include initiation, planning, design, market launch, production, monitoring and closing. Ensures projects are consistent with corporate quality and regulatory policies. Works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create comprehensive cross-functional project plans that include conceptual design, specifications, critical path items, FMEA, risk analysis, financial analysis and budget, product cost, tasks, deliverables, schedule as well as product marketing, forecast and launch plans, product production and product service plans.
- Communicate effectively the project goals and objectives.
- Assign roles and responsibilities to project team members and determine schedule for the project.
- Monitor project activities, milestones, and cost to ensure new products release in accordance with company's long-term strategy.
- Identify risks and address corrective actions.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely design history documentation as required.
- Contain product cost through design, process, procedure, and method improvement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Thorough knowledge of medical device design documentation regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams working on specific engineering projects.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated persuasive communication and expository writing skills.
- Goal driven, independent thinker, equally capable as an individual contributor or project team leader.
- Knowledge in areas of schedule development, cost, scope, system integration, and quality assurance.
- Ability to work with a professional and positive attitude to improve processes.
- Ability to make sound recommendations and decisions based upon cost, customer requirements, regulations and other pertinent data.
- Familiar with a 3D solid modeling package, preferably Solid Edge and/or Solid Works. Adept use of Excel, MS project, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, machining and/or molding.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and 8-12 years of related experience.
