Mizuho OSI Becomes Global Distributor For Dupaco's ProneView® Protective Helmet System
February 08, 2008

Mizuho OSI has been named exclusive worldwide distributor of the ProneView® Protective Helmet and Mirror System manufactured by Dupaco of Oceanside, CA. The ProneView® System safely cradles the patient's head during surgical procedures that require prone patient positioning. The system consists of a molded plastic helmet, a soft cushion insert and a reflective, adjustable mirror base. The ProneView® System gives the anesthesiologist an unprecedented view of the patient's eyes during prone procedures. This allows verification of the patient's condition and significantly reduces the risk of eye injury. The system is widely used with Jackson Spinal Tables and Wilson Frames, both products of Mizuho OSI.

Vince Jorgensen, Strategic Business Unit Manager for Mizuho OSI states: The ProneView® System allows our company to offer the safest prone positioning solutions to our customers. As the world leader in spine and orthopedic table innovation, this product helps us stay on the leading edge of technology, performance and patient safety."

Dupaco's President/CEO Gregory Jordan offers: Dupaco welcomes the global distribution system of Mizuho OSI. This is an excellent opportunity to maximize the number of patients who can benefit from the safety provided by the ProneView® Protective Helmet System.
