Paris, France, November 30, 2007 – On November 26, 2007, leading international hip surgeons gathered in Paris to conduct a Scientific Advanced Course for total hip arthroplasty using the Anterior Approach. The course included hands-on anatomical surgical involvement for the attending surgeons.

In addition to physicians from the host country of France, the course was attended by surgeons from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and the UK. The International Faculty included Chairman Philippe Paillard, MD, France, Heni Judet, MD, France and Gary Bradley, MD, USA.

The Anterior Approach is a proven, small-incision procedure for total hip replacement that allows for immediate post-operative stability, less pain and a faster recovery for the patient.
